Hi there, Thanks for writing in. Have you compared your usage to using the same accounts over the same time period with the same activity within Safari? You would likely see the same numbers.
You can try to click Mailplane > Reset Mailplane if your usage seems high and that should help. We are keeping an eye on it but at this time, we don’t have a known memory leak. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
