Job Description Summary :

This Business Analyst position will support the SAP enterprise
implementation program at Goodrich. The position covers SAP Supply Chain
Management functional areas, specifically in the areas of Quality Master
Data and Execution, Production Execution and Manufacturing Data Collection,
and Demand Management, including Forecasting, Cross-Plant Planning, and
Master Plan Scheduling. This position is responsible for requirements
gathering, data mapping and conversion, SAP design, writing technical
specifications, system configuration, unit and integration testing,
development of training material, training, go-live activation and ongoing
User support. Extensive travel (50%-75%) is required depending on the
project location and phase.

Essential Responsibilities: Quality Master Data and Quality Execution
responsibilities may include the creation of inspection plans, approved
suppliers, day-to-day quality transactions around first article inspections,
incoming receiving inspections, quality notifications, production work order
inspection points and inspection lots, and return to vendor items.
Production Execution and Manufacturing Data Collection relates to day-to-day
activities of shop floor control, production work orders and the
manufacturing of products. Demand Management includes all product or
material forecasting elements, inter/intra-company transactions, STO and
ATP. Experience with APO, BW or ABAP a plus.

Interaction: Work with other project team members, business departments and
end Users to identify appropriate business solutions and resolve specific
issues for SAP implementations.

Documentation and Communication: Utilize standard SAP program documentation,
reports and communication as appropriate to project role. Create specific
documentation or reports as appropriate to project being implemented.
Communicate with other IT, Competency Center and business groups as
required.

Testing and Configuration: Be responsible for testing and configuration of
SAP for a specific project and business or IT function. This will be process
functionality for existing Business Analysts.

Basic Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related
business field. Minimum 3 years SAP or ERP systems experience and detailed
knowledge of business processes for the Supply Chain Management areas listed
above. Prior SAP or project implementation experience required (within the
last 5 years). Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with
minimal supervision necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication
skills a must. Understanding of business processes and the resulting systems
implementation. Some technical ability to configure SAP applications.
Knowledge of a reporting tool (Cognos, Crystal, Report Writer, etc) helpful.
Competence in general PC business applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook,
Access necessary. Ability to work with various levels of business people and
communicate/train in systems functionality. Aerospace and Defense experience
a plus.
