*Sr. Business Systems Analyst*

The Senior Business Systems Analyst shall have extensive experience in
developing and managing requirements and working as a liaison with both
business stakeholders and technical resources.  The candidate shall have
prime accountability for major projects and will develop detailed and robust
requirements, scope agreements, process descriptions, and work with
technical counterparts to translate functional requirements into technical
specifications.  Hands-on experience with projects supporting Service
Oriented Architecture principles, Web sites and Web Services.  Works without
technical oversight or as the leader of a team as required.   May serve as a
Work Order Manager or Back-up Work Order Manager.  Shall possess exemplary
communication skills, both oral and written in order to clearly and
effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables to SSA
counterparts.  ***Please provide a one page writing sample with Resume

*Principal Functions:*

Participates in all phases of the systems development life cycle, with
emphasis on planning, requirements development and management, validation,
and training.

·         Designs and prepares meeting minutes, deliverables, status
reports, etc.
Prepares test data, tests, debugs and refines applications software.
Maintains active liaison with user personnel to ensure continuing
responsiveness of applicable system software user requirements.

·         Provides assistance to less experienced personnel in the
resolution of systems-related problems.
Provides technical direction for performing software development tasks and
reviewing work products for correctness and adherence to design standards.

·         Ensures accurate translation of functional specifications into
technical/programming specifications.
Assures software and systems quality and functionality.
Coordinates with the Senior Project Manager/Project Manager or Work Order
Manager to ensure problem resolution and user satisfaction.

·         Primary point of contact between SSA user community and the
contractor in compiling specifications for information system development.

If serving as a Work Order Manager, additional functions will include:

·         Manages resources assigned to the work order.

·         Monitors budget for the work order.

·         Oversees all activities related to the work order.

·         Participates in status meetings with SSA counterparts, as
required.

·         Ensures effective communication on all work order issues

*Typical Minimums*
Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7+ years or
more of professional experience.
