Anyone seen errors like this (and know how to fix them)?

Generating and caching the translation database
Merging translations into plugin.xml.
Can't use string ("1") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at
/opt/csw/bin/intltool-merge line 1092.
I've gotten some similar errors when trying to package several packages.
The line number seems to be either 1092 or 999 (depending on which
package I'm building)
