Might be if there were no-one out there shipping identically named utils installing in the same place, who might just go ahead and upgrade thiers in an incompatible way. But there is. This is a general problem obviously, not just for this package and classutils, which opencsw and blastwave persist in ignoring. As for the question of how we reimplement something which we've done, which IMHO we should not have done, with an identical feature set I don't know (I simply don't understand enough about the features of classutils to make a suggestion at this stage). I'll have a think, and maybe pick some brains on IRC at a better time.[1] Gary [1] Right now I'm in an airport departure lounge after getting up far too early this morning -- [email protected] _______________________________________________ maintainers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.opencsw.org/mailman/listinfo/maintainers
