If I want to install a Perl module I have to look up which package
it is in. That means I know it is Config::Augeas on CPAN. This may

CSWpmcfgaug. We could also have special variables in the pkginfo
which must then find their way to the package database somehow, like
 PERL_MODULE_NAME=Config::Augeas
That's why the description seemsed easiest.

I think that the special variable may be the best approach; some of
those CPAN paths are ludicrously long, and would then obscure a
meaningful description field.

Ok then. The "upstream name" will then become field no. 9 in the catalog
(that's what I meant with package database). It is imperative to have this
information available easily on package installation.
