I would like there to be a bit of automation which would do the following: - poll a designated location over HTTP (e.g. http://mirror.opencsw.org/opencsw) - download all the catalog files - notice which package have been removed and which have been added (or updated) - when a package removal/addition/upgrade is noticed, it would send an e-mail to the maintainer of that package: "on date and hour such and such, your package such and such (version ...) has been removed/added/updated."
The idea is to send the notifications only when the updated package is available externally, meaning that mirror will sync from it, and that the buildfarm can be updated with the new catalog state. It would be very useful when building a chain of dependencies. Does such a thing exist? If not, does anyone have code that does something close to that? _______________________________________________ maintainers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.opencsw.org/mailman/listinfo/maintainers .:: This mailing list's archive is public. ::.
