No, you should have said what was wrong with it. You didn't follow
through with the batching but never updated the status either so the
maintainer was just left waiting for it to appear on the mirrors which
would have never happened.

I'm sure Philip is doing the best he could under a heavy workload.
I'm more concerned that the failed batching process:
a) failed because of checks that should have been done much earlier in
the process.
b) left the web pages in an inaccurate and inconsistent state.
