Nope, the minimum CPU level for Solaris 9 was sparcv8 whereas gcc 4.7 required sparcv8+ That does not mean you couldn’t just build with sparcv8+ and release for Solaris 9 as it would work on any platform past stonehenge. > I wanted to upgrade gcc there.
