MAISA ANNUAL MEETING

 SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2008 at 9:30 a.m.

The 2008 MAISA Annual Meeting will be held at University Center, Room 312, 
UMBC, Baltimore, MD.

Directions and campus maps have been sent to this list previously.
 
 2 representatives (1 undergraduate and an advisor) from each team should 
plan to attend or send a written proxy naming the person who is to vote in 
his/her place.   Undergraduates must have undergraduate proxies; graduates, 
graduate 
proxies.   Each college may control only 4 votes.

 Cost:
 No up-front costs.   Lunch is on your own. Food court and dining hall 
available on campus.

 Tentative Meeting Schedule for discussion and/or action:     
     a) Treasurer’s report
     b) Reports from ICSA Standing Committees
     c) ICSA National Championship Regatta updates:
          Hobart/WmSmith, Cornell
     e) Membership items
     f) ICSA issues
     e) Confirmation of ICSA committee members
     g) Review and finalization of 2008 racing schedule
     h) Election of officers
           i) Undergraduate president and 4 regional representatives.   These 
are students who attend                Regular Member colleges and who should 
be able to participate in conference call
               Executive Committee meetings during the year and fulfill 
ranking obligations in a 
               timely manner.   The president should be able to attend ICSA 
meetings.
               *None of the current undergraduates are eligible for their
                same positions in 2008.               
          ii) Graduate Director
               Graduate Secretary
               North Region Director
               South Region Director
               These are for 2 year positions.
               Director-at-Large appointed by Grad Dir--1 yr position

               Careful thought should be given to these positions and 
               anyone wishing to make nominations may do so prior to the 
               meeting by sending them to Ann Campbell, Graduate Secretary.
