To the teams attending the Icefree 2-on-2, March 8th & 9th, GTN, ODU, MD, DEL, AR, COR, and Ohio University. If any of you will have to withdraw or no-show, PLEASE let us know ASAP as o ur facilities require an even number of teams for the best racing and SSU is an anxious alternate. The format for this year's event will be to run a series of seeded preliminaries followed by an "Upper Series" and "Lower Series" that should make the later races far more interesting with teams more closely matched in skill levels. As In previous years, we will also have a free lunch on Saturday, "T" shirts, and an early departure on Sunday, weather permitting. Since we expect to run a total of 60 races, please be on time BOTH DAYS. These events have always been a lot of fun and this year's format should make the racing more interesting. We'll be looking forward to hosting you all on the 8th & 9th and it will be a particular pleasure having Ohio University visiting from the Mid-West Conference. I have attached directions to the CNU Sailing Center on Deep Creek for your convenience. Dan Winters Head sailing Coach, Christopher Newport University
