For those who haven't heard yet, there were 114 Vanguard 15s at Larchmont YC this past weekend to race in the Nationals. Sadly, the wind did not cooperate and we were unable to get a race off. For pictures of the "action", go to www.boatographer.net
Still, we need a national champion so the Nationals has been rescheduled to July 18-20 (very late start time on Friday -- probably a 4 PM first gun with racing until sunset so that teams don't have to come in on Thursday), using Larchmont Race Week as a platform. For teams who signed up the first time, there is no additional entry fee. We will re-open registration so that teams who missed out the first time can get in on the action. I'm not sure that we'll get 114 boats at LYC again, but I really think we'll get at least 70-80, if not more. We'll be revising the NOR and SIs in the near future and will circulate information about re-registering as soon as we determine how we're going to do that. But in the meantime, please circle the date on your calendar. Hope to see everyone back at Larchmont in 5 weeks.
