Hi everyone,
We are looking for more teams to attend Princeton Women's on Sept.
27 and 28 as Monmouth and Princeton are currently the only teams
registered. Princeton Women's is a great regatta for teams that may
not usually have the depth to field a women's team, filling an
important niche in the regatta schedule, and the competition is
always tight.
The members of our team have really enjoyed the event in the past
and it has been useful for us in preparation for other women's
events. We have moved the date earlier in September in order to offer
an event through which women's teams can train and practice without
the pressure of a qualifier. Raritan Yacht Club is a wonderful venue,
as those who attended Central #2 last spring will know, and we have a
host of experienced members who have helped us run regattas in the
past. We would love to make Princeton Women's as successful as it has
been and I encourage anyone who is interested to sign up.
Please let me and Ann Campbell know if you would like to join us.
Thanks!
Allison Tracy
Commodore Princeton Sailing Team
