Unfortunately, you can't get very high quality sound fonts based off of other keyboards. Believe me, I've tried several. However, there are some good ones out there, such as the Salamander Grand Piano by Alexander Holmes. You should be able to get it here: https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/3 Actually, Proteus VX is now free, not as a sound font, but as its own stand-alone synth. You can download the package here at http://www.creative.com/emu/proteusvx/ Don't worry about the notice that says it only works on Vista and XP. I was able to make it work on both windows 7 and 8. All I had to do was run it as administrator the first time I launched it. However, in order to use this with Winamp, you'll probably need a virtual midi cable like Midi Yoke, http://www.midiox.com/index.htm?http://www.midiox.com/myoke.htm Or Loop BE1 http://www.nerds.de/en/download.html I hope this helps, and please reply if you need additional help. God bless: Seth

I looked at protius and hmmm they are quite expensive to buy the fonts won't be getting that stuff. I have coolsoft synth and with a few tweaks it sounds good. I noticed I could chain like 10 or so fonts together, however loading to many uses a heck of a lot of memmory so I am only putting in one at a time to play on winamp which it works well with. As long as its not on realtime cpu and the font is not loaded in memmory it does not lag that much and is a bit faster than the synth font winamp plugin. I am looking for and have not found soundfonts for the following emulation. sc88 roland I have an sc55. roland corg, e36 board ensonic juno ts12. yamaha motif all of them or at least the best one. awe32/ awe64 creative. tandy. amiga. c64 whatever the best one is. I have a few fonts all free some from old cards some from websites and ftps. What I like about soundfonts is I can emulate sertain cards. I have pulled fonts from an xp system with an sb live and I have an old sb16.
