Yeah, I don't have uwin on my radar screen for Module::Build since it wasn't in perlport. Is it a flavor of Windows?

U/WIN is a POSIX on Windows environment like Cygwin, Interix, MKS, and DJGPP. It provides *nix tools and POSIX APIs to make porting *nix apps to Windows easier. It was developed at AT&T Research Labs by David Korn (creator of the korn shell).
