The explanation last time was that 1.76_01 had the bug and 1.84 doesn't have it. 1.76_01 installed the wrong CPAN.pm file a a bundle (239k; the actual CPAN.pm module!) If this is what's going on here, you'd remove the above mentioned Bundle\CPAN.pm file, then do an "install CPAN" and a "reload cpan" and then you should have success running the "install Bundle::CPAN" again. Something like this should definitely work. -- andreas
