We don't do "normal" github pull requests because http://github.com/github/perl/ is not ours, it is a mirror kindly provided by GitHub. We use our repository (http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git) and we are flexible enough to pull commits from repositories hosted elsewhere if necessary. Léon
