Hi all, I've found the Mantis way to disable the view status change in Manage / Manage Configuration / Workflow Thresholds / Set view status (public vs private), and set the $g_default_bug_view_status to VS_PRIVATE. Now the Reporter users can only report as private, therefore can only seen their own bugs.
