Hi,
I'm testing Mantis for possible adoption by a customer or ours. In the
Administrator Guide, I read "Each team may decide to have a different set of
categorization for the status of the issues, and hence, MantisBT provides
the ability to customize the list of statuses". Indeed, our customer needs
to have two projects, and each of them would require a different set of
statuses.
I have successfully followed the procedure to define some custom states, but
I had to act on global configuration files, so I seem to understand that all
projects share a common, global list of statuses; in practice, it is
possible to add new, custom statuses, but it is not possible to define
different subsets of statuses for different projects, and make only the
appropriate subset visible in each project. :-(
Did I understand right? Otherwise, how can I make different sets of statuses
visible for different projects?
Thank you for your support and excuse me if the question is silly -- I've
not studied Mantis in depth yet.
