Dear Mantovani,

I am currently constructing a research project based around the river
Tiber and its role in the Aeneid. As part of this project, I am hoping
to look at the iconographical and ideological role this river fulfilled
within the visual arts of Republican and Augustan Rome (in maps,
scultures, architectural monuments and so on). However, as this area is
new to me, I am unsure of where to look to find such visual images. I
would therefore be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions...

With many thanks and best wishes

Tim
