Why didn't you just ask? OpenLayers processes the GetMap request once
all layers are set up, and the context model in Mapbuilder is updated
after every pan/zoom. Initial setup is done by the MapPaneOL widget in
Mapbuilder, based on the context model.

This version is too old. There were some api changes in OpenLayers since 2.4.

Mapbuilder 1.5-alpha2 uses r3862 of OpenLayers trunk.
