Hi everyone,
Here's a nice little "hidden history" map story from Der Spiegel (in
English) about how a Berlin-based team worked for six years on an
earlier version of Ptolemy's Geographia (recently found in the
Topkapi Palace library) to finally remap [they claim] Ptolemy's 94
German city coordinates to the real world. Apologies if this is old
