Could you perhaps be referring to the map by Maerten Vries from about 1643?
This shows his "Compagnies Land", named for his employer, the Dutch East
India Company. The map is in the Algemein Rijksarchief in the Hague. There
is also a derivative map, by Isaak de Graaf, dated the following year, which
converts Company Land into "Americae Pars"- part of America. But these maps
were actually of the Kurile Islands, not the Aleutians. I doubt there would
be a Dutch map from the 17th century of the Aleutians but do let me know if
you find one!

I am trying to locate, if it exists, an old chart (17th C. perhaps) of the
Aleutian Islands. I suspect it will be of Dutch origin, if it exists.
Any help would be much appreciated.
