Just last week and in a so-called One Euro shop I acquired a 1933 touristic folder issued on behalf of the Holland America Line (HLC) and the Edison Hotel (New Yorks newest and most modern hotel) and published by Samuel Freedman. When opened the leaflet holds a large "Supervue map of New York" (76x46 centimeters), showing an amazing aerial vue of (what I believe is) lower Manhattan. Big red arrows show the offices of the HLC and the locations of the Edison Hotel. On the backside of the plan there is a large directory entitled "What the visitor desires to must-see. Does anyone knows more about this map and its history?
