Almost all these sheet maps are at 'conventional' scales - 1;100,000, 1;50,000, 1;25,000. Except for a couple of Belgian maps - Anvers 1893, and Bruges and S E, 1913, both at 1;40,000. Anyone know why Belgium alone chose this unusual scale, or do I just need to get out to more 2nd hand map shops? Hillary Shaw Newport Shropshire
