Cool on the flat earth map. But, remember that toward the end of the 19th century, a good many sects existed which believed in the flat Earth and other configurations that did not include living on the outside of a sphere. Some of them incorporated various scientific developments in their explanation of their religions, whether it was as part of healing medical conditions or explaining how things worked. In Estero, Florida, is a state park called Koreshan State Park, originating from Koreshan Unity, a religion originated by Cyrus Teed, who believed that we all live on the inside of a hollow sphere. ;~) I first heard about this when I was an assistant professor at the University of Florida; and, the park is still extant, with its website being at: http://floridastateparks.org/koreshan/default.cfm Enjoy reading about it. v ------------------------------------------------------------- Virginia R.
