J. B. Post's recent post on cartifact linens reminds me to post a unique cartifact. One of our daughters volunteered to paint a small sets of drawers, which she did, and then she papered it with road maps: the top, the two sides and each drawer has a map. The top is of western Pennsylvania where my wife and our six children were born and raised. Then there is a map of where we have migrated and now live: Maine, Alabama, New Mexico, Maryland, and Delaware. It is a cheerful, useful cartifact and like no other.
