On p.33 of Somon Garfield's JUST MY TYPE: A BOOK ABOUT FONTS.(Gotham Books, 2010) is a reproduction of the GUARDIAN map of the Republic of San Serriffe. The book is an entertaining and easy read on the subject of type faces. While they are not the major concern of map historians, it is certainly something with which we have to deal. JBP
