I have done it in the opposite direction when taking low res multispectral
and fusing it with panchromatic data and bringing it back into MI. In
general though, you should clip out what you need and modify the pixel
coordinates by subtracting. That way, you can avoid loss of resolution and
projection/orthorectification (Jaques' points).
