Per "Appendix K: Copyright Information for Sample Data" in the "User's
Guide" for version 5.0 the US Zip Code Boundaries are copyrighted by
Geographic Data Technology, Inc. 1997. I am sure it is different for each
version of MapInfo Professional. Check your manual for copyright date.
Also; just because the data is copyrighted in a specific year, you can not
assume that the data was collected and compiled during that year.
I can only expect that the data provider G.D.T. Inc. will provide the
information you seek.
