I too am experiencing problems between MI and service pack 4. In our case
the problems are occurring when any 3rd party software/.mbx is used, for
instance Discover or Vertical Mapper. When a function is selected it
"freezes" MI and appears to cause the memory usage to soar and lock on 100%.
To reactivate MI you have to select MI from the Windows task menu bar. A
frustrating problem. Any suggestions appreciated!! Initial queries to
various NT gurus have proved unhelpful.
