With regards to the ArvView courses, I've done both the Introductory and
Advanced courses, and I would recommend that if you are already familiar
with Mapinfo and GIS concepts in general, then you could consider skipping
the introductory course (particularly if the cost is an issue). The
Introductory course I found to be _very_ basic, and I felt that it didn't
teach me much that I couldn't have found out for myself in a couple of hours
with the books and on-line help. The Advanced course however, introduces a
few things that you can 'get your teeth into'.
