MI SQL Server 7 odbc problem

Hi,   Anyone out there who has successfully connected to SQLServer 7 from MapInfo 5.5 ?   We can initiate a connection and select a table but in the end mapinfo gives an error message saying that another application is using the connection and quits.    From Access I can link to SQLserver 7 without any problem, so I think it's a MapInfo bug.   Regards,   Ton Brouwer
