Bill & other listers,
I apologize if it seemed like I was slagging off Bill's dlg2mif program. It
actually works very well and was certainly worth the money. What does annoy
me is the spotty and incomplete coverage of the USGS dlg data and the hoops
you have to jump through to use it.
Still, it could be raining.
Cheers,
Tim

Tim,
If you can't use DLG-MIF at all because you thought it would work
with SDTS, I'd be happier to return your money than not. I do
tell people that DLG-MIF works only with DLG optional format
data, but it's not always obvious what that means until they try
to translate some data. DLG-MIF will work with all the free DLG
data at the USGS EROS Data Center, and any USGS DLG optional
format data CDROM, but if that's not what you need I wouldn't
want you to feel stuck with it. Just let me know if you feel you
won't be able to get any use out of it, and I'll rebate your
credit card for $95, no problem.
