we just bought a new machine. we went with 256mb of ram and an Ultra SCSI
drive. i think the SCSI will make a big difference, since it doesn't need
the CPU to move the data. we are going to have a big IDE drive in it too.
NT
will manage swap on several drives, too, depending on which drives are not
in use at any given time.
i was expecting our new toy yesterday, but now i think it won't arrive
until
tommorrow.
