Add node and reshape are now working I went back and followed the book
like a Bible and I am now
able to edit my polygons. I must have been doing something wrong with making
my cosmetic layer edit. What that thing was I don't know since I have right
mouse button access on my maps and I was making the cosmetic layer editable.
Now I need to be able to run a routine similar to the mlselect.mbx. This
program finds the polygon area by doing the following:
o_region = CommandInfo(CMD_INFO_CUSTOM_OBJ)
It then uses this object o_region as a basis for selecting information from
all layers in the workspace. According to the
MapBasic user's guide the argument CMD_INFO_CUSTOM_OBJ is valid for
dm_custom_polyline or dm_custom_polygon drawing modes. If I am just
modifying a polygon how can I capture the region of the new polygon so I can
do the same.
