As I suspected my problem was easily solved by tapping into the vast pool of knowledge of the MapInfo List. Jim Spriggs, Jason Adams, and Donald Marino sent files (custom and/or available at the MapInfo website) through which I could print out my color pallette. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- David Hansen suggested a utility on the MapInfo-L archive site (http://www.directionsmag.com/mapinfo-l/IndexFiles.htm ) called printest that is essentially a bunch of workspaces that you can size to any layout and print for testing of colors, pattern, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------- Michael Goldberg gave the following advice: You can download the color palette from the MapInfo web site. Check out this link: http://www.mapinfo.com/solutions_and_services/technical_support/tech_tip_arc hive/ Then go to the printing section and you should see a link for the color palette. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- THANKS to ALL, Dan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- Daniel P. How can I print out my color pallette (Mapinfow.clr) file so I can compare differences between plotters? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
