Does anyone have experience working with MrSID images within MapInfo? I've
compress some color (RGB/8 bit) TIF images and made prints using the MrSID
Viewer and from within MapInfo 5.5. The print from the Viewer is acceptable
when comparing an original print but the MapInfo print is not. The MapInfo
print has larger pixels which creates a TV like "snow" affect. I've
increased the block size to 1024 of the MrSID file but that didn't help.
Any help or advice to fix or resolve this difference is appreciated. Thanks
FYI - MrSID compress the image from 47.7Mb to 2.3Mb!
