It's been several years since using this list, and without knowing
if any MapXtreme Java developers hang out here, I'm in need of an area
calculation class for use with MapXtreme Java. Amazingly enough,
MapXtreme Java didn't include such a class, and I don't seem to be able
to get anyone at MapInfo to give me an indication when such a tool might
be available. Hard for me to imagine any GIS not inherently providing
such functionality.
Has anyone attempted to write an area calculation tool for use with
MapXtreme Java? For that matter, are there subscribers to this list that
are writing applets and servlets with MapXtreme Java? Or perhaps more
importantly, is there another non-Mapinfo resource for MapXtreme Java
developers?
