Isn't it though? What you are trying is really a job for a Real
Programmer. Even the pros spend months trying to figure it out.
Cracking the government's RSA encryption is a good warm-up
excercise before you tackle this.
But there are getting to be some good sources of help out there
these days. The SDTS home page is at
http://mcmcweb.er.usgs.gov/sdts/index.html, and there you'll find
all the resources and pointers to them. You can ask questions of
the SDTS experts at [EMAIL PROTECTED], too.
