Dear all, I have a tbale with a lot of overlapping points. Many are duplicates. How can I 1) select points that overlap, with a given attribute value. eg, two points coincide at the same location and they both have the same attribute value. I wish to have one only because the other is redundant. I am trying to write the query using X coord and Ycoord but i am not sure of the appropriate format. 2) count the number of points that overlap exactly at any one point and then and create a new point on a new layer with the number of points overlapping counted as an attribute. Which i can later size with a thematic range point symbol. again I know there is an MBX floating around somewhere.
