Subject: Automated Mapping Hi We have an enquiry for developing telephone cable network from Mapbasic Programming. The requirement is mentioned below. There are about 4 different layers namely Roads, Plots, Sewage , Storm drains. Given two points, one at the subscribers' place(Plot ) and other at a Pillar, is it possible to automate drawing cable by finding the shortest route along the road without passing across the storm drains(separate layer) or sewage lines(separate layer) or plots(separate layer) through mapbasic coding. Can anyone help me in this regard. Is there any demo program which can be made available to me .
