Hi Ian
You should be able to get this by querying the objects MBR() ie Minumum
bounded rectangle.
eg select ObjectGeography(obj,1) "Min_X",ObjectGeography(obj,2)
"Min_Y",ObjectGeography(obj,3) "Max_X",ObjectGeography(obj,4) "Max_Y" from
My_table
If you have some deleted objects in your table either pack the table first
or add the 'where object' clause to the SQL.
Cheers
Martin

Subject: MI getting min/max coordinates?
I am interested in characterizing central tendancies of the width (E-W) and
height (N-S) of a large number of polygons in a MapInfo table. Is there any
way to generate the minimun and maximum coordinates associated with a
polygon? Thanks much for any help.
