Thanks to all that replied... It was VML that I was interested in, although the VRML sites were interesting anyway. I addition to the sites mentioned, Microsoft had some good resource material at http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdn-online/workshop/standards/vml/Shape/introduct ion.asp but I never trust MS when it comes to defining standards - and they have a habit of clogging the search engines. Re VRML, - I think we will continue in 2D before attempting 3D. The recent discussion in tab file formats has reignited our interest in the area.
