I have downloaded a raster image created by the USGS using ArcInfo
software from the following web site
http://www.nationalatlas.gov/shadedm.html USGS states the image is in
Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area. The metadata for the image is located at on
the same page. I have tried a couple MapBasic utilities located on the
MapInfo-L website but was unsuccessful in getting the image converted. I
believe the raster file in ESRI format is the twf file. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
