If I remember correctly, we discovered that the problem was due to the
HP driver changing the Windows locale setting. This causes a change to
the interpretation of punctuation marks. The mapinfow.mnu file uses
commas as delimiters. If you look, "Wor&kspace..." follows immediately
after the first comma in the file.

I believe we prevent this problem in the 5.5.0.26 patch by resetting
the local to what we need more frequently.
