I need some help!
I would like to access data from a remote database via the MapInfo Info tool
(i) but is doesn't work. I did the following. I opened a Ms Access table via
the Open DBMS command and his corresponding graphical MapInfo table. Both
tables have a unique field which is used for the join operation. I used the
Update column command to add field from the remote database to the MapInfo
table but each time i've tried, MapInfo crashed.
Is there a simple way to create a virtual join between a MapInfo table and a
remote table based on a specific column like ArcView does. ArcView can do
this with a simple click but i can't use ArcView for this job!.
