Hi David

1. Crash: did you pack the MapInfo Table ? Might be the problem ...
2. Another way to do that is, that you perform an SQL and join the tables. After that 
you should be able to "query the query" using the info-tool. Save the whole as a 
Workspace and it should re-open it as such.
