Gerald,

     In MiPro 6.0 all new windows including layouts are created using
Preferred Printer (which can be windows default) information. This
information is persistent on a per window basis. You can  override
individual window information through Page Setup dialog, but this will
change printer, paper orientation and papersize only on this particular
window.
     You can try to use Option>Preferences...>Printer or RUN MENU COMMAND
M_EDIT_PREFERENCES_PRINTER or RUN MENU COMMAND 217 (if running from
MapBasic window) instead of using Page Setup dialog. This will bring up
MapInfo Preferred Printer dialog, where you can set Preferred printer and
papersize. Once user pressed OK button is this dialog, these setting will
be used for all new windows, that will be created and printed after that.
