There's an inverse selection mbx under http://www.directionsmag.com/tools/
by John C. Hollingsworth. Search for filename InvrtSel.zip.
I've had mixed results with it, but it could be operator error...

How do you select the inverse of your selection?
Example: I'm working with a table of counties. I want to delete the
counties not in my view. So, I select the counties in my view, but can't
figure out how to "switch" my selection to counties not in my view.
ArcView has a great tool called "Select Inverse" which does this in a flash
- does MapInfo have a similar tool?
